· Criminal Defendants who are represented by an attorney should direct communications to our office through their attorney, not through direct email to the prosecutor’s office. Any direct communications may be deemed as a waiver of the right to remain silent and any such communications may be used against the defendant in court. · Email communications to prosecutors may be screened by other employees in the prosecutor’s office. |
