We are a social services agency in cooperation with the Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office. We are funded by a grant from the Department of Justice through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. Anyone who suffers as a result of criminal activity is considered a victim, regardless of the seriousness of the case. November 25, 2008—New information has been added regarding the Indiana Statewide Victim Information and Notification (SAVIN) service. Indiana SAVIN is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or internet to search for information regarding their offender’s custody status and register to receive telephone and email notification when the offender’s custody status changes. This service is brought to you by the Indiana Department of Correction and is supported by a grant awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance. Here is a direct link for Indiana SAVIN.
